Welcome to my blog! I can’t even believe I am saying that! Months ago, a dear friend suggested I start a blog. A blog? Me? Who in the world would want to read my rantings? My musings? My interpersonal struggles with daily life?

“Me,” she said. “I would like to read them.

So, here I am. Musing over the day-to-day realities of living as an American Christian in the 21st Century. A wife of one amazing man, Rob, and a mom to three: Candace (22), Brooke (18), and Grant (18). Yes, they are twins. For much more (I’m sorry, I really love being a MOM!) on wifery, mothering, and life, in general, read this blog! My calling as an author and speaker affords me the awesome opportunity of digging through the word of God, mining for nuggets of spiritual gold. Hopefully, you will glean from this endeavor, and find hope, healing and heartfelt encouragement for your walk with the Lord. One thing is for sure, we are on this pilgrimage together. Isn’t it great to know you are not alone!

I met you in New York (I’m from Oregon) while our daughters were performing or auditioning in Times Square. You gave me your business card and for some reason, I just thought i’d look on your website. Next I will have to check out your book.

I wanted to let you know that my daughter signed a contract with Ballet San Antonio and will be there for at least 5 months.

I would love to hear you speak sometime so let me know if you ever get out to the west coast.

I continue to rejoice and praise God as I watch Him work out His
plan for your life. I have known you through so many seasons
of growth in Him…dance director; homeschool mom; homeschool teacher to others’ children; curriculum writer/workshop studies leader that build up student and parent; and now author/speaker!!
Thank you for encouraging me and enriching my life by living your
life pointing to Christ as our example and strength…and all in your
unique fun and loving grace-filled manner…all the while surrendering your plans for His! He’s a GREAT planner!
