Fresh Start Friday: Every Thought Captive

Happy Fresh Start Friday! I’m off to South Carolina to speak to the incredible women of New Prospect Baptist Church! After months of prep, it is finally here!

We’re five weeks into our Lenten Reflection: Losing Emotional Weight. This week’s focus, 2 Corinthians 10:5. Please visit janellrardon.com and download your free Lenten Bible Study (located on the Fresh Start Fridays page), Worry is a Wrinkle in the Fabric of Faith. This short study is actually part of Freefalling to Freedom: Take the Leap and Trust God Completely.

Join the healthy dialogue and lose emotional weight! Whew, I really feel lighter already. It helps to talk it out.

  1. I love how your definition of worry highlights the experience of cyclical thoughts. They are a red flag to alarm us that we can’t control anything in life with “thinking” the same thing over and over again. If we could think it once, and pray & surrender it daily – that would be a much more productive effort of emotion and heart. Janell, thank you for sharing all of your insights! ~ Josephine
